The first thing you should know about me is that I walk my talk. I love being an example of what is possible at this age and stage when you’re willing to take responsibility, get over your past and go after what you really want now. I’ve decided to grow bolder, not just older, and I love helping my clients do the same.
In the last decade I have remarried after many years as a single parent, learned to drive a stick shift, gone sky diving, travelled the world, gotten a tattoo, become a first time entrepreneur and changed careers. And, I have never been happier, I’m in the best shape of my life and having way more fun. What changed? Shifting gears and living intentionally, instead of sticking with the status quo & default mode.
And, I feel like I’m just getting started.
Before becoming trained and certified as a masters level coach, I was a licensed psychotherapist for more than twenty years, the last six in private practice. As I began to make positive changes in my own life, I began to recognize the limitations of therapy and began to explore coaching.
The vast majority of coaches lack the education, training and professionalism of a licensed therapist, and the majority of therapists are not trained as coaches. Working with a coach who has a therapy background insures a level of sophistication about the nature of the mind and brain, human performance, motivation, habits, resiliency and how to create and sustain change. I think it’s a winning combination and my clients agree.
And by the way, the coaching techniques I use will help you acquire a mindset and set of tools that you will continue using long after our work together has ended, making your investment in coaching both lasting and invaluable.
So, if you are truly motivated to change your life for the better, and not just feeling better about it temporarily, I would love to talk to you about joining one of my online coaching groups or working with me privately.
